What warm memories I have of the many hours shared with Hugh, attending meetings from London to Bude or painting bridges or digging mud on the Grand Western Canal. My eternal thanks for the tolerance of Jann for the many hours that we canal buffs took Hugh away from you. With my deep regret that in recent years I have never found time to travel to the West Country to visit old friends, With love & joyous memories, Tony Rymell.
